Applying CTC to Employee
Convert approved CTC quotes into employee salary structures with effective dates and component mapping.
Once a CTC quote is approved, HR applies it to the employee's payroll structure in HRORA.
How to Apply CTC to an Employee
- Go to Payroll โ CTC Quotes
- Find the approved quote
- Click Apply to Employee
- Select the employee
- Enter the effective from date
- Add notes if required
- Click Submit
What Gets Updated After Applying CTC

Employee Payroll Defaults
After applying CTC, employee payroll defaults are stored:

Important Rules
- Apply CTC only from an Approved quote
- Set the correct effective date โ payroll runs after this date will use the new structure
- If salary changes mid-month, HRORA may prorate based on effective date and configuration
When rehiring an employee or changing their salary, always create a new CTC quote, get it approved, and apply it with the correct effective date to maintain a clean salary history.
