Returning Assets

How employees return assigned assets and how IT Admin tracks and processes returns.

Employees can return assigned assets through HRORA when they no longer need them, are exiting the company, or are switching devices.

How Employees Return an Asset

  1. Go to Asset Management โ†’ My Asset List
  2. Open the asset to return
  3. Click Return Asset
  4. Select the person receiving the asset
  5. Add a description or reason
  6. Upload an attachment if required
  7. Click Submit

Return Asset Form Fields

After Return Submission

  • Asset return is recorded in Asset History
  • IT Admin reviews the return
  • Asset status updates to Returned
  • Asset can be reassigned or marked as Available, Not in Use, or Retired

IT Admin โ€” Tracking Returns

IT Admin can view return requests from the Asset Details page or Asset History.

Common Return Scenarios

During employee exit, HR should check the Asset List to confirm all assets have been returned before processing full and final settlement.
